The long weekend is here! Offices are closed Monday so you won't see a new blog post until Tuesday the 5th. I'll be working of course but lots of people will be here enjoying what locals take for granted. Plan a little extra time to get places because so many people flock here to get a taste of valley life. We do take for granted the fresh air, actually seeing the stars in the night sky, nice folks, no big box stores, horses and cows in the fields, acres of grapes and slower pace of life. Every time I leave here, even for a fun get a way, I can't wait to get back. That's when you know you live someplace really special.
