On Saturday I'll be at 2664 Janin Way in Solvang priced at $950,000 from 1:00 to 4:00. On Sunday, I'll be at 1233 Calzada in Santa Ynez priced at $985,000. Come on by and say hello! Lots of folks will be in town for the long weekend. If you are visiting, I sure hope you already nailed down your lodging situation. This is one of those weekends where there isn't a hotel room to be found for miles.

1978 Honey Locust, Solvang (3/2 on .17 of an hour) These are really cute houses with a huge play room/gym/office/guest space upstairs that is not in the bedroom count. Corner location with garages on the side which is a look I really like (not seeing garage doors on the front of the house is a plus). Walking distance to New Frontiers market which I consider a gigantic plus. I'm in that store every single day buying some of best organic produce and foods in the county. I would love to live by that market. All other conveniences are nearby as well for a true "walking village" type location which is a lifestyle concept on the rise in popularity. I remember walking into town every day to get groceries with my granny in England when I was a girl. We knew all the shop keepers and had quite a good chat on the way there and back. Wow, that was a walk down memory lane!
64 Manzanita, Solvang (2/2 on .22 of an acre) Listed at 699K and sold final for exactly that, 699K. Worth every penny too. This one had a recent $210,000 remodel! Check out the pics. Its gorgeous.
1235 Highway 246, Buellton (3/2 on 4.41 acres) Listed at $1,050,000 and sold final for 900K. A lot of acreage for the money. This whole corridor from Buellton to Lompoc is doing particularly well.
8669 Santa Rosa Rd., Buellton (main house and other dwellings on 62.61 acres) Listed at $4,595,000 and sold final for exactly that, $4,595,000. This one went pending in less than a month which is really quite phenominal for the price point. That speaks volumnes about how special this one is. The horse facilities here are first rate, lots of flat and usable and the Santa Rosa area is one of the hidden gems of the valley. Take this drive some time if you haven't done so already. Breakthtaking out there in places. Country but single digit minutes to everything.
