Our Fav's from Caravan Today

319 5th St. Solvang (2/2 condo) 375K Nina: There were two of these units open today, side by side. The grounds are beautifully kept and I love the mature trees surrounding the property. Each of the units is light and bright and move-in ready. Most of all, I appreciate the elevator! Both are second story units but the elevator makes them far more accessible. 2109 Village Lane, Solvang (2+/2 condo) 435K Sharon: This is a great condo! Don't be scared off by the stairs either because all the important stuff is at street level, single story. The only thing upstairs is a loft which you may or may not need but what that loft does do is elevate the ceiling by a lot which brings in a ton of natural light. Many of the truly single story condos are dark but not this one. Sunny and happy. Very generous living space with a fireplace. Nice dining area. Good sized kitchen. Spacious master with ensuite bath and the 2nd bedroom uses the hall bath with is huge. Both bathrooms have been remodeled. Beautiful floors. Nice sized patio and attached garage. Loads of visitor parking right outside the door. What I love best though is the location. Here in the very back, dead end street with no drive through traffic and best of all, perimeter just across from the naturally gorgeous creek area. If I were in the market for a condo today, I would definitely make this one top of my list right now. See it. Nina: Such a nice Village Lane unit. It's tucked toward the back of the development and has nice fencing and landscaping surrounding. The interior is surprisingly spacious and the high ceilings make it feel larger than it is. The upstairs loft provides lots of extra space while the main living area and bedrooms/bathrooms are downstairs. Listed by Karin Aitken of BHHS

550 Aebeltoft, Solvang (3/2 on .24 of an acre) 799K Sharon: This one is a real stunner in its price point. Pride of ownership inside and outside with attention to detail and squeaky clean. Nice opened up floor plan with a true great room design. Lots of natural light from this corner location with a lot of privacy due to its unique siting on the parcel. On the perimeter so you get nice views from this location above Hans Christian Anderson Park. Outside of downtown but still close enough to be able to stroll in for farmers market or dinner. This property is an excellent value and a best buy in the under 800K market. Even if you are shopping well into the 8's, don't overlook this one priced in the 7's. Nina: Most people don't even know this area exists and the drive in is impressive with very well kept neighboring homes. The home is shy of 1800 square feet but the center has been opened up making it feel bigger than it is. The grounds are very pretty but also make for easy maintenance. Really nice home in this price range!  Listed by Rich Condit of SYV RE

1458 Kronborg, Solvang (3/2 on .48 of an acre) 929K Sharon: Solidly in the "better than new" category. When this home was brand new, it didn't look this good. Now its a bazzillion times better than new. For those of you wanting to buy a new house but not fitting into the Skytt Mesa development, check this one out. I'm generally not a fan of fix and flips because many are done with shoddy materials, slapped up and only look good a short while. Not so here. This one was done with quality materials, trending design and has a beautiful and consistent palette. It is so remodeled, it feels brand new. Fortunately this property was originally built in 1978 when you could still find choice building sites. This translates into a like new house in a cherry location. That's opposed to a brand new house built on a lot that is squished in, too narrow, weird topography, high traffic or other issues. Choose the great location every time because you can change the house but the location will always plague you if it isn't good. This one is good with big views from this elevated location and a very generous back yard with mature frees and is remarkably private. I love the zen experience patio too which just begs to have a lounge chair, a good book and a glass of whatever makes you happy. Walls gone, opened up, fabulous kitchen and I love the floors. Bedrooms are all generous. Bathrooms right out of a magazine. Obviously I can't say enough good things about this one. See it for sure. A real winner. 3618 Manzana Street, Santa Ynez (4 plex on .24 of an acre) $1,280,000 Sharon: This isn't something we see every day. The valley has very few unit type properties so a 4 plex is rare. Each unit is a 2 bedroom 1 bath. Large fenced yard plus plenty of off street parking. I have the income information so interested parties should call me about that. Near the corner of Manzana and Faraday so even has a great location. Nina: This is a very interesting opportunity! 4 unit apartment building located in Santa Ynez, each unit is 2 bedroom, 1 bath on a 10,000+/- square foot parcel. Please contact us if you would like income information. Listed by Jodi Williams and Jose Uriarte of Coldwell Banker
