175 3rd St., Solvang (4/2 on .55 of an acre) Was 799K with a new price of 735K. A great property just got better. The location of this particular parcel is hard to beat at this price point. The perimeter in this neighborhood has big views right over the river and directly to the foothills. Some perimeter areas in the valley overlook a highway, trailer park or rock crushing plant but not so here. If you are looking for perimeter with a pretty view, this is one location not to miss on my personal favorite of Solvang’s best vintage streets. Check out the pics – they really are accurate as to the panorama view. Gorgeous views. The 1962 build has been well taken care of over the years with some recent updates in a generous almost 2,500 square feet. It would meld well with a variety of decorator styles but the floor plan would also provide a wonderful slate for a remodel in future years if you really wanted to. I think you just might find it’s a good fit as is. I am sitting here wondering why this property is still available. Maybe this price reduction will shake loose some buyers that have been watching it. Strolling distance to downtown too. It’s a good one!
