On his daily blog today, Guy Rivera said its a "It's a "Goldilocks" economy.. Time to Buy"! and "The US dollar index has hit a 2-year high with domestic and foreign investors rushing into the greenback as the US remains the "cleanest shirt in the dirty laundry" when compared to other economies around the globe. The strong "buck" will also give Fed cover not to raise rates as a Fed rate hike would only strengthen the US Dollar further".
We are rapidly approaching the week long Rancheros Visitadores ride here in the valley with the kick off in town Mission ride happening on May 4th before they head out on the long 30+ mile trek to their "permanent" camp for the rest of the ride. This is a public event at the Mission in Solvang. If you want to see some of the best horses in the world ridden by examples of America's real cowboys, gentleman ranchers and those who live by the Code of the West, get yourself on down there and be prepared to be amazed by the scope, energy and dedication this fine group brings to the valley. There will be lots of cowboys around by the end of that week wearing their "cleanest shirt in the dirty laundry" too. :) I raise my hat to members here in the valley and those from around the world who worked so tirelessly and effectively to raise a million dollars for a local cause so dear to us. RV sure is a stellar bunch of guys who know how to cowboy up in a big way. Thank you for giving back to our community and never forgetting the Code of the West. It matters.
