I'm joining many of you out there sending collective thoughts of safety and security for Montecito and other fire and/or mud slide affected areas due to the predicted rain deluge beginning late tomorrow. Some good maps and video at Weather.com are talking about this "atmospheric river" (click here). Here in the valley, we don't have any evacuation warnings that I know of but not so with other locations on the central coast involved in prior burn areas and certainly in other parts of the country where our troubles are, in comparison, de minimis. If you don't hear from me tomorrow, you'll know the power is out!
