A few of you out there might have caught Sunset Magazine's recent article which included the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara wine country being dubbed "California's Greatest Long Weekend". Click here to read the very well done article. Its a very accurate and thought out depiction of just how magical this place really is. If I didn't already live here, I would be making plans right now for a visit. Its when you read articles like this one that we locals stop and realize just how fantastic this place really is. I too take it for granted sometimes but having the unique position of very often seeing it through the eyes of buyers new to the area, I get constant reminders of just how lucky I am. So, here's to a beautiful weekend in this incredible weather we are having and celebrating our new moniker ... "California's Greatest Long Weekend".
2751 Quail Valley Road, Solvang (4/3 on 1.17 acres) $1,099,000 I am in love with this one. Already redone with style and good taste. Super great location on QV backing up to the big undeveloped area behind here. Ballard school district. A real winner in its price range. Listed by Michelle Glaus of Village Properties.
4001 Long Valley Road, Santa Ynez (3/2 on 18.56 acres) Was $1,980,000 with a new price of $1,795,000. Wow! 185K reduction. This one is a real winner in the categories of solid ranch house, family compound, updating worth doing and view centric property. You don't think you could even reconstruct what is here today for the current price. Main house, guest house and artist studio. Solid and some updating already done. Excellent opportunity. Listed by Carole Cologne and Clair Hanssen of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services.
